Delighted to have contributed as a member of the Conference Committee in Global Young Academy for the 2026 International Conference of Young Scientists!

A major highlight for me was organizing Panel II: “𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲: 𝐀𝐈'𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠.” We delved into how artificial intelligence is fundamentally reshaping the scientific method—driving rapid, scalable breakthroughs across climate science, medicine, and advanced materials.

It was an absolute pleasure working alongside my fantastic colleagues Francesco Maurelli and Rubén Costa to curate this session with our brilliant panelists Maddalena Rostagno, Lise Øvreås, and Dominik Grimm, as well as collaborating with Emilija Stojmenova Duh, who did an incredible job steering the team as Conference Committee Chair! 🤝

A particularly inspiring takeaway from the conference was the message shared by United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres with the GYA:
"May your eureka moments shape a better world for us all."
